Job description

PowerForce of Arizona, Inc. announcing an opening for Contractor Supervisor. PowerForce is a well established courier service with over 25 years in the Phoenix market. We are expanding our operation and will be adding support staff grow with us.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Customer service via phone

Some light computer data entry

Sorting of packages into routes

Direct driver communication for instruction and information

Other duties as needed

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The primary function of a Contractor Supervisor is to manage ongoing relationships with customers and contractors by resolving issues, and maintaining delivery integrity.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Must be thorough and have great organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner
  • Ability to make quick changes in routing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Able to read, write and speak English
  • GED or higher
  • 2-3 years of dispatching experience is highly valued but not required

Work Environment: Contractor Supervisor duties operate in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, scanners, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets.

Physical Demands: Contractor Supervisor duties require the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. It may also require walking primarily on a level surface for certain periods of time, as well as, reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents.

Must be able to sit and use a telephone and computer simultaneously for extended periods of time

This is a 1099 position.
