In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting transportation equipment to ensure it is ready for the road. This includes power washing trailers and trucks, cleaning both interior and exterior surfaces, conducting routine inspections, and identifying any visible damage or maintenance concerns.

Position Summary
As a Truck Wash Specialist, you will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing trucks and trailers for service. This includes power washing equipment, operating wash facility equipment, maintaining biosecurity standards, and ensuring trailers meet cleanliness requirements before returning to service.
No experience required. We provide comprehensive training for motivated individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Trailer & Equipment Cleaning Responsibilities

  • Power wash and disinfect PV Transport tractors and trailers in accordance with Clemens Food Group, USDA Animal Welfare, and Food Safety policies and regulations.
  • Wash and disinfect external customer tractors and trailers as requested by management.
  • Clean both interior and exterior trailer surfaces to ensure equipment is road-ready.
  • Operate the Bio-Dryer according to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report any damages, defects, or maintenance concerns.
  • Assist in inspecting trailer cleanliness after the wash process to ensure company standards are met.
Biosecurity & Food Safety Responsibilities
  • Follow all biosecurity guidelines to minimize the risk of disease transmission between the trailer wash facility and farm operations.
  • Perform wet mopping and laundering of work clothing as part of established biosecurity procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all company animal welfare, food safety, sanitation, and biosecurity protocols.
  • Help ensure all trailers meet cleanliness and sanitation requirements before returning to service.
Facility & Operational Support
  • Assist in maintaining and operating the separator system and monitoring proper pit levels.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies, including soaps, disinfectants, cleaning products, restroom supplies, and replacement parts.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Support the overall operation of the wash facility and transportation team.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

  • Ability to perform basic Auditing/Inventory & ordering supplies.
  • Ability to calculate basic math skills using Metric & Standard units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense & understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid driver's license preferred; Not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, & feel sensation. The Team Member is occasionally required to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and talk or hear. The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The Team Member is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The Team Member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
