Job description

Position Summary:
Lead and own postโ€‘trade operations, settlements, and reporting for an energy trading and renewable portfolio. The Power Settlements Manager ensures accurate valuation and settlement of physical and financial contracts, automates reconciliation and data flows, and delivers timely management reporting that supports trading, risk, and portfolio strategy.
Key Functionsย 
ยท Perform the activities related to settlements and follow-up arising from (i) market operations (ii) from physical/financial contracts executed by Cobra, (iii) Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), (iv) short hedges, (v) tollingsโ€ฆ
ยท Develop and implement automated processes for settlements and data recording in databases, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in information management generated from the day-to-day settlement (DAM/RT/RECs/Balancing/PTP Options/Ancillary Services) to help taking decisions on the Renewable Energy Portfolio strategy performed by Middle Office.
ยท Perform the required activities related to the reporting of the PPAs
ยท Perform the required activities related to the issuance of Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) or monitoring the status and position of those.
ยท Communicate settlement amounts arising from market operations to Accounting & Controlling departments.
ยท Support on related energy management activities (e.g. compliance of regulatory requirements, process for issuing financial guarantees and collaterals).
ย Qualifications:
ยท Bachelorโ€™s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or closely related field.
ยท 3 years of experience in similar a role within the Renewable Energy sector is preferred.
ยท Used to work in an international environment and different geographies is a plus.
ยท Domain Microsoft Office package, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
ยท Interest and proficiency in database management, combined with knowledge of otherย  ย  ย  ย programming tools (such as Python, R, SQL) or Power BI
ยท Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
ยท Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
ยท Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
ยท Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
