Available Shifts:

A Shift ($19.00/hour): 6:45am - 3:00pm M-F

B Shift ($21.50/hour): 2:45pm - 11:00pm M-F

C Shift ($21.50/hour): 10.45pm - 7:00 am (Sun-Thu)

Work Performed:

  • Using hoisting equipment, remove finished mill rolls from line and place on skids/racks.

  • Weigh mill rolls and generate required mill roll documentation.

  • Using hand trucks move completed skids/racks from line for further processing.

  • Visually identify all film, roll defects, and notify operator of defects found.

  • Maintain roll geometry within specifications

  • Perform required quality checks and document quality readings.

  • Record all production, waste, down time and other required data.

  • Perform any necessary changeovers involving winder per instructions on production schedule.

  • Assist operator in trouble shooting problems with winder such as trim wraps.

  • Operate core cutter as necessary.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of plant and department safety procedures and guidelines.

  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed by production supervisor.

  • Maintain housekeeping.

Requirements of Position:

  • Read a ruler in 1/16th inch increments

  • Licensed for industrial powered pallet jack

  • Demonstrate a teamwork attitude.

  • Abide by companies’ attendance policy.

  • Attention to details.

  • Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Good mathematical skills.

  • Continuous learning will be expected

  • Able to work overtime as required

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.50 per hour
