Position Overview:

Working from directions assigned by the Line/Section Supervisor to inspect the products based on the Standard worksheet provided. The inspector is responsible for inspecting the quality and cleaning the finished products.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and assess finished products to ensure products are up to Canada Goose first quality standards;

  • Follow the Standard worksheet to inspect the finished products;

  • Mark the defects on the products and input the defects data in the system;

  • Ensure individual productivity quotas are met or exceeded daily, while at the same time maintaining Canada Goose quality standard;

  • Using various tools eg, air guns/oil spray/cleaning solutions/clippers etc. to inspect and clean the products;

  • Performing to achieve company goals of 100% efficiency or more;

  • Maintain, clean and organize the working station;

  • Adhere to Canada Goose rules, Health and Safety regulations, and code of conduct;

  • Must have knowledge about various sewing and fabrics defects;

  • Experience in Manufacturing and apparel industry considered an asset;

  • Ability to keep a steady hand while inspecting and cleaning;

  • Manual dexterity (the ability to quickly make coordinated movements with one or both hands to manipulate finished products) is required;

  • Proven ability to follow instructions, problem solve and take initiatives towards a solution;

  • Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment;

  • Learn and consistently exhibit Canada Goose's values, taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting personal commitment;

  • Must have good attention to details, must have understanding of construction and qualityrequirements,

  • Must have good English communication skills;

Hourly Range:

$18.62 - $20.59 / hour
