MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Communications Chief to join our team in Guam, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Philippines and Oahu Hawaii.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • The Base Operations Support Specialist II coordinates the day-to-day work of craft occupations to maintain mechanical equipment and localized structures under senior guidance.
  • They track preventative maintenance schedules, inspect ongoing infrastructure repairs for safety and regulatory compliance, and compile facility deficiency logs to support localized restoration or upgrade projects.
  • The Base Operations Support Specialist II executes daily field life support operations, RSOI tracking workflows, and tactical facility maintenance tasks for deployed personnel during exercises in the USPACOM AOR.
  • They administer the physical setup and continuous maintenance of field tenting, mobile kitchen cooking facilities, field laundry support equipment, tactical shower systems, and water purification and storage bladders while monitoring tactical generator spot power outputs, tracking greywater processing streams, and monitoring Host Nation vendor service deliveries.
  • The Base Operations Support Specialist II takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of position-relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education
  • Must demonstrate experience in formal document approval and acting as a Functional Lead for information management and BI service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical certifications in Power Generation, Water Production, HVAC, or Military Field Services.
  • Experience operating within a military movement control cell or forward operating node.
  • OCONUS theater experience.

Clearance Required:
  • Must hold an active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
