Job description

United Engines is Now Hiring a Electrical Field Service Apprentice Technician at 11800 Maybelline Rd North Little Rock, AR 72117. Responsible for learning how to perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs at the customerโ€™s place of business on customerโ€™s power generation equipment, as instructed by senior level Electrical Field Service Technicians and Group Leaders.


  • Learn basic parts, processes, and maintenance techniques as instructed by more senior level Field Service
  • Technicians Work with more senior level Field Service Technicians to understand how to accurately troubleshoot and diagnose routine problems with customer's equipment.
  • Retrieve parts and other supplies for more senior level Field Service Technicians.
  • Learn how to complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide assistance to more senior level Field Service Technicians on larger jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) and/or no prior experience necessary.
  • Technical/other training or better.
  • Less than 1 year: Basic mechanical aptitude required.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required.
