Job description

BabyBots is a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of technology solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Power Platform Developer with extensive SQL/Database expertise to join our team. If you are passionate about creating efficient and scalable business applications and possess a deep understanding of databases, this role may be perfect for you.


Position Overview:


As a Power Platform Developer with a focus on SQL/Database, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. You will leverage your strong database knowledge to ensure that data is seamlessly integrated into the applications to enable data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and productivity of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Power Platform Development: Design, build, test, and deploy custom solutions within Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to address business needs and enhance processes.

Database Integration: Work closely with database administrators and data engineers to integrate and optimize SQL databases within Power Platform solutions. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance.

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements, and translate these into technical solutions.

Custom Connector Development: Create custom connectors or APIs as needed to connect Power Platform applications with various data sources and external systems.

Data Transformation: Utilize SQL for data transformation and manipulation to provide relevant insights and reporting capabilities within Power BI.

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Power Platform applications, data models, and integration processes.

User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Security and Compliance: Ensure that data and applications are developed in compliance with relevant security and privacy regulations and company policies.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in developing applications within Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Extensive experience in SQL database development and management.

Proficiency in Power Query and data modeling within Power BI.

Experience with API integration and custom connector development.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
