Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking talented Industrial Engineer to join our team at our Broken Arrow, Oklahoma location. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, increasing productivity, reducing costs, optimizing workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role analyzes production methods, labor utilization, facility layouts, and operational performance to develop and implement solutions that improve efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability.

Industrial Engineer Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for productivity improvements.
  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct time studies, motion studies, and process analysis to establish labor standards.
  • Reduce waste and improve process flow using Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and other lean tools.
  • Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Production Optimization

  • Evaluate production schedules, staffing levels, and equipment utilization.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation activities.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze production performance data, labor efficiency, scrap rates, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
  • Recommend process improvements based on operational trends and data analysis.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Facility and Equipment Planning

  • Design and optimize plant layouts, workstations, and material flow.
  • Assist with equipment selection, installation, and validation.
  • Support automation and technology improvement projects.
  • Participate in new product introductions and process development activities.

Quality and Safety Support

  • Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve operational performance.
  • Ensure engineering solutions comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Participate in risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives.

Project Management

  • Lead and support manufacturing improvement projects from concept through implementation.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Present recommendations and project results to leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-5+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (experience level may vary).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience conducting time studies, labor analysis, and process optimization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems, MRP systems, or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or other facility layout software.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and process control methods.
  • Experience in automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
