Job description

The Power APP and .NET helps to drive critical business decisions by enhancing the USER INPUT FORMS and reporting infrastructure, taking ownership of various data sets and data elements, designing, managing, and deploying data systems, reports, and dynamic dashboards, as well as training users in these systems and the use of reports. This position is responsible for extracting and grouping data from multiple sources, manipulating, and validating data, and conducting root cause analysis. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of required reporting using the database and reporting tools.

Job Function:
  • Design, build, and implement various Power APP FORMS to drive data input and reporting packages
  • Working with various multifaceted databases to analyze and report all aspects of the data.
  • Create and maintain Power APP and BI dashboards and underlying datasets
  • Design and implement data validation processes
  • Create and maintain dataset documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
  • Understand and analyze the data/reporting presented to answer any questions as well as make necessary amendments as required
  • Identify and implement ways to automate recurring reports and gradually phase out the use of manual reports and database updates
  • Generate and monitor automated reporting, adding controls and forms
  • Develop and write accurate and efficient queries to extract and integrate data from multiple database sources
  • Work with the internal and external business users to perform analysis and reviews on new reporting formats and/or proposed changes to reporting requirements
  • Work in conjunction with other internal teams on collaborative projects, including data analytics initiatives
Skills:
  • Power APP and .NET and BI Report development in both Cloud Service & On-prem Server
  • Should have knowledge to understand/develop/debug complex DAX queries in Power BI
  • Should have expert knowledge on SQL queries
  • Should have Power APP and .NET Admin knowledge
  • Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence
  • Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set
  • Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
  • Building Analysis Services reporting models
  • Developing visual reports, and dashboards using Power BI desktop & PBI Report Builder
  • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries
  • Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with standards
Qualifications:
  • SQL Server
  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)
  • 5 years of development experience using C# .NET
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
  • Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3
  • DAX, M, PowerShell, and T-SQL
  • Power APP, Power BI Dataflows, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio,
  • Power BI Service architecture design and administration
  • Data modelling using the Kimball methodology
