Job description

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer with approximately 5 years of manufacturing experience to improve productivity, optimize labor utilization, eliminate waste, improve manufacturing workflows, develop labor standards, manage Manufacturing BOMs, and support operational excellence.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- ESSENTIAL

Standards & Methods:

  • Conduct work measurement using stopwatch studies, MTM, MOST, and time studies.
  • Develop and maintain labor standards and staffing models.
  • Perform method studies to eliminate waste and improve ergonomics.

Efficiency & Productivity:

  • Create standard work and balance production lines.
  • Analyze workflows from receiving through shipping.
  • Perform manufacturing data analysis (cycle time, takt time, OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, utilization).
  • Lead waste/loss elimination and Kaizen events.
  • Design efficient material flow, routing, point-of-use inventory, Kanban, and supermarkets.

Routing & BOM Configuration:

  • Develop and maintain Manufacturing BOMs (MBOM) and manufacturing routings.
  • Support ERP updates and new product introductions.

Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, PDCA, DMAIC, and RCA.
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering.

Data analysis & Visualization:

  • Perform manufacturing data analysis (cycle time, takt time, OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, utilization).
  • Present data in managerial interpretation with visualization using advanced excel, macro, PowerBi
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS


Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing Industrial Engineering experience.
  • Experience with labor standards, workflow analysis, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, productivity & efficiency improvement
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • AutoCAD/layout software, one Simulation s/w (FlexSim/Arena/Simio/Witness), Power BI, and Minitab.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
  • Experience with MES, AutoCAD/layout software, FlexSim/Arena/Simio, Power BI, and Minitab.
