Job description

Location: Lewisville, TX.

Duration: 3+ Months

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our project. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing D365 F&O solutions, working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and architects to deliver high-quality, scalable customizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations and extensions in D365 F&O using X++ and the Dynamics 365 SDK
  • Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Data Entities, OData, and Logic Apps
  • Develop and optimize reports using Power BI, and embedded analytics
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and ensure best practices across the development lifecycle
  • Support data migration activities using DIXF (Data Management Framework)
  • Participate in UAT, troubleshoot issues, and provide post-go-live support
  • Document technical designs, customizations, and integration specifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Strong proficiency in X++ development, including forms, classes, tables, workflows, and batch jobs
  • Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data model, and application lifecycle management (ALM)
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in developing integrations using Data Entities, OData, Dual-write, and Power Platform connectors
  • Experience with SSRS report development and DIXF data migration tools
  • Familiarity with LCS (Lifecycle Services) for environment management and deployments
  • Good understanding of core F&O modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer (MB-500)
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  • Exposure to Azure services: Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management
  • Knowledge of ISV solutions and AppSource extensions
  • Experience with dual-write and virtual entities for integration with Dataverse
