Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and applying surface primers or treatments using hand tools and power tools.
  • Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and airless paint sprayers, to apply even coats of powder material to designated parts.
  • Use conventional spraying techniques and manual finishing methods to achieve smooth, consistent coatings aligned with project specifications.
  • Interpret production documents such as work orders, blueprints, and process instructions to ensure accurate application of coatings.
  • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
  • Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to verify coating uniformity, color accuracy, and surface finish standards.

Experience
