Concessions Line Cook
This position is for Cafe Mirage
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Concessions Line Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for the quick service and food preparation for all guests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, preparation of food items, visually inspecting all food products, kitchen sanitation, as well as receiving/inspecting bulk orders ensuring they are put away correctly.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assists others in closing the kitchen.
  • Uses Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products and does not rely on the memory of themselves or other associates.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the culinary preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the facility recipes, portioning, cooking, timing, serving, and presentation standards

What We're Looking For
  • 1 + years experience in a high-volume restaurant/food/concessions outlets production kitchen is preferred or experience in a similar capacity.
  • Operating knowledge of food management systems is helpful.
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
