Position: Dining Services Assistant Dishwasher

Department: Finance & Administrative Services

Type of Position: Part-time Temporary

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: must have open availability, predominantly Monday through Friday, up to 12 hours per week

Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No

Starting Salary Range:  $15.68

Position Summary: Responsible for the cleaning, care, staging, and storage of pots, pans, and service items.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma and little to no related experience.
  • Must be able to pass ServeSafe Certification once employed.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand. 
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation to include kitchen tables, shelves, floors, equipment, etc. 
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures for the dish area as assigned. 

*Other duties as assigned.
