A Potato Engineer is a professional who specializes in the cultivation, processing, and improvement of potatoes, often working within agricultural engineering or food technology. They may focus on developing better farming techniques, enhancing potato yields, or creating innovative potato-based products and machinery. Potato Engineers work closely with farmers, researchers, and food manufacturers to ensure quality, sustainability, and efficiency in the potato industry. Their expertise helps optimize everything from crop genetics to storage solutions.
