Gabro Event Services is a premier wedding and event rental company serving Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota, and beyond. We specialize in luxury commercial tents (West Coast frame tents, high-peak pole tents, and structure tents), custom draping, event lighting, and staging.

We are seeking EXPERIENCED Tent Installers & Event Riggers to join our on-site production and setup crew.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES PRIOR HANDS-ON COMMERCIAL TENT EXPERIENCE. We are NOT looking to train entry-level candidates for this role. Candidates must have direct experience building, staking, and striking commercial event tents.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:

• Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 / hour (based directly on verified tent experience)

• Job Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Day, evening, and weekend shifts based on event installation and strike schedules (events primarily operate Thursday through Monday).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and assist in the safe layout, assembly, and erection of commercial tents (frame tents, high-peak pole tents, and structure tents) ranging from 20x20 up to 40x100+.

• Proper and safe staking, anchoring, and ballasting according to wind-load engineering and safety standards.

• Installing tent accessories: sidewalls, subflooring, dance floors, and hanging event lighting/draping hardware.

• Safe and efficient post-event tear-down (strike), cleaning, proper folding, and rolling of commercial tent vinyl.

• Safe loading and unloading of box trucks and trailers at our Largo warehouse.

• Maintaining job site safety, clean execution, and professional conduct at luxury client venues and private estates.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS (STRICT):

• REQUIRED: Minimum 1–3+ years of documented hands-on experience installing commercial event tents (West Coast frame tents, pole tents).

• Knowledge of commercial tent components, crown fittings, spreader bars, ratchets, stakes, and jack systems.

• Ability to comfortably lift 50–75+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in Florida weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation to our Largo facility and valid driver's license (box truck driving experience is a strong plus).

• Strong commitment to job site safety, punctuality, and clean workmanship.

Nos especializamos en carpas comerciales de lujo (carpas de estructura West Coast, carpas de postes y carpas estructurales), cortinajes, pistas de baile e iluminación.

Estamos contratando INSTALADORES DE CARPAS CON EXPERIENCIA para unirse a nuestro equipo de montaje en eventos.

⚠️ NOTA IMPORTANTE: ESTE PUESTO REQUIERE EXPERIENCIA PREVIA COMPROBABLE EN CARPAS COMERCIALES DE EVENTOS. NO estamos contratando aprendices ni personas para capacitar desde cero en este rol. El candidato debe tener experiencia práctica directa en montaje, anclaje y desmontaje de carpas.

PAGO Y HORARIO:

• Pago: $18.00 – $22.00 por hora (según nivel de experiencia comprobable)

• Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo

• Horario: Turnos de mañana, tarde y noche disponibles según programación de eventos (jueves a lunes principalmente).

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES:

• Montaje, ensamblaje y levantamiento seguro de carpas comerciales (carpas de estructura de 20x20 hasta 40x100+, carpas de postes y carpas estructurales).

• Anclaje seguro con estacas y pesas/barriles de agua siguiendo estrictas normas de seguridad y viento.

• Instalación de accesorios: paredes laterales, pisos, pistas de baile y herrajes para iluminación.

• Desmontaje posterior al evento (strike), inspección, limpieza y enrollado/doblado correcto de lonas vinílicas.

• Carga y descarga segura de camiones y remolques en nuestro almacén en Largo.

• Mantener la seguridad en el sitio de trabajo y conducta profesional en los recintos de eventos.

REQUISITOS OBLIGATORIOS:

• REQUERIDO: Mínimo 1 a 3+ años de experiencia previa comprobable instalando carpas comerciales de eventos.

• Conocimiento de piezas de carpas, tubos, accesorios de corona, carracas/ratchets, estacas y gatos de levantamiento.

• Capacidad física para levantar entre 50 y 75+ libras y trabajar al aire libre bajo el clima de Florida.

• Transporte confiable para llegar a nuestro almacén en Largo y licencia de conducir válida (experiencia manejando camiones tipo box truck es una gran ventaja).

• Puntualidad, responsabilidad, trabajo en equipo y enfoque estricto en la seguridad.
