Job description

Who is Saint Louis University? Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University is one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious Catholic universities. SLU, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service.

Premila's research group (https://sites.google.com/view/premila-research-group) at Saint Louis University invites applicants for a postdoctoral research associate position in computational biophysics. The successful candidate will lead project(s) focused on biomolecular dynamics within computational models of cell-like crowded environments. Potential themes of research projects include enzyme dynamics, protein-misfolding and aggregation, and hemoglobin diseases. A doctoral degree in physical sciences, biochemistry, or computer science is required at the start of the position (we accept ABD applicants). Applicants with prior experiences with Linux command line, Python programming, high-performance computing, and computational chemistry will be preferred. This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and CV, one of their publications (or preprints) that they are most proud of, as well as arrange for two reference letters
