Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate works independently on research projects, with supervision from a Research Mentor, and on developing teaching skills, with supervision from a Teaching Mentor, to support the general functioning of their biomedical research laboratory, and to fulfill the research and teaching requirements of the Rutgers IRACDA, INSPIRE Postdoctoral Training Program.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
  • Eligible applicants must apply to the program and receive approval from the INSPIRE Admissions Committee. Application and eligibility information can be found on the INSPIRE website: https://rwjms.rutgers.edu/research/inspire/home.
  • Must take part in all of the research, writing and teaching training provided for INSPIRE IRACDA Fellows.
  • Must take part in all of the research and teaching evaluation surveys provided for the INSPIRE IRACDA fellows.
  • Does biomedical research with Research mentor, and publishes the findings, in support of developing an independent academic research career.
  • Works with a Teaching Mentor at INSPIRE Partner School to teach and mentor undergraduate student, in support of developing an independent academic research career.
