Job description

Description
The Jeurissen lab at NYU's Center for Neural Science is looking for a postdoctoral associate to work on the following:
- Design, perform, analyze, write up, and publish experiments investigating the neural mechanisms of perception, decision-making, cognitive control, and compensatory mechanisms in higher-cognitive functions. The experiments will involve a combination of behavioral, anatomical, and electrophysiological studies in human and animal subjects. Techniques include high-channel electrophysiology and viral-vector mediated causal manipulation of neural activity in awake-behaving animals.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $75,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date.
Qualifications
PhD in neuroscience or in related field.
