Salary range: The salary range for this position is $66,737 -$82,836. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by experience level. See Postdoctoral Scholar Scale for the salary range. "Off-scale salaries", i.e. a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated experience, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

Position description

The Department of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine, University of California, Irvine is anticipating openings for Postdoctoral Scholars to work in the following divisions and programs:

Pediatric
Allergy/Immunology, Adolescent Medicine, Cardiology, Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, Developmental & Behavioral, Endocrinology, Genetics/Metabolic Disorders, General Pediatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonary, Surgery, Urology

Postdoctoral Scholars will conduct research under the general oversight of a faculty mentor and are expected to contribute to the academic community by enhancing the research and education program of the University. Positions are dependent upon extramural funding and require a minimum appointment of one year. Rank and salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
