Job description

Salary: Compensation Range $70,000.00 (minimum) - $80,500.00 (midpoint) -$91,000.00 (maximum)

Category: Biology

Primary Work Address: Dept of Molecular Biology, Princeton, NJ, 08544

The Lim Lab at Princeton University is seeking an energetic, curious, and driven Postdoctoral Scientist to join our team. Dr. Ai Ing Lim studies how the immune systems of mothers and their children interact during reproduction and early life development. From pregnancy to lactation, a mother's immune system undergoes dramatic changes to support the developing baby while maintaining her own health. Lim's lab investigates how these immune shifts affect not just reproductive organs but also the broader physiology of the mother during and after reproduction. Lim also explores how maternal exposure to widespread environmental factors shapes the offspring's immune development.

Our research places particular emphasis on host-microbe interactions at barrier tissues and during critical developmental and reproductive windows. By uncovering the maternal-offspring immune partnership, we aim to improve women's reproductive health and optimize immune trajectories for future generations. For more information about our lab, visit www.limmunity.com.
