The Department is currently undergoing expansion and growth. For the current open position, preference will be given to candidates taking innovative approaches to study molecular mechanisms of either (i) cancer immunology, or (ii) bacterial pathogenesis that complement and synergize with existing expertise within the Department and the KUMC research community. Successful applicants must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. (or similar doctoral degree) and are expected to be highly motivated with excellent communication, teaching, and writing skills, and to have demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with an impactful publication record.Job Description:Required QualificationsEducation: Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, including postdoctoral training, with an immunology focus
