Job description
Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Performs complex building repairs using various technical skills (i.e., carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.) Assists in maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Directs work and supervises vendors/technicians who repair and maintain equipment and/or systems. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Performs a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Ensures proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems. Schedules, directs and ensures satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors.
Schedules and facilitates vendor testing of emergency generator, sprinker system alarms and other systems
Records data from main electrical panels on a quarterly basis.
Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; records data from inspections.
Provides support with conference room set-up for meetings, caterings, and events.
Ensures receipt and accountability for all deliveries including Federal Express, office supplies, and postal service.
Maintains positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization in providing outstanding service and support.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6+ year experience of building
Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., inspecting equipment, making minor repairs, and supporting facility upkeep)
Must be able to work assigned shift schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as business needs require
Must be familiar with basic hand & power tools
Strong attention to safety, detail, and follow-through in completing assigned tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
2 + years maintenance and repair experience in warehouse or related area.
OSHA Forklift operator certificate; HVAC certification; ammonia
