What does a post production project manager do?

A Post Production Project Manager oversees the workflow, scheduling, and coordination of tasks involved in the final stages of film, television, or video production. They manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that editing, visual effects, sound, color grading, and delivery are completed on schedule. The role acts as a bridge between creative teams, technical staff, and clients, ensuring clear communication and that project goals are met. Their work is essential for delivering high-quality content within deadlines and budget constraints.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a post production project manager?

To excel as a Post Production Project Manager, you need strong project management skills, a deep understanding of post-production workflows, and typically a bachelor’s degree in film, media, or a related field.
