Job description

Full-Time Positive Support Analyst – 245D
Gateway Unlimited Living LLC is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Full-Time Positive Support Analyst to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals receiving 245D services while helping them build skills, increase independence, and achieve their personal goals.
Position: Positive Support Analyst
Employment Type: Full-Time
Service Area: Minnesota
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility based on client needs
Travel: Local travel between client homes and community locations is required
About the Position
The Positive Support Analyst works closely with individuals, their families, support teams, and staff to promote positive outcomes and provide person-centered support. The position assists with implementing positive support strategies, monitoring progress, collecting data, and helping ensure services are delivered in accordance with individual needs, 245D requirements, and the individual's support plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement person-centered positive support strategies.
  • Support individuals in developing independence, communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Observe individuals in their homes and communities and identify areas where additional support may be beneficial.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to direct support staff.
  • Monitor implementation of support strategies and make recommendations for adjustments when needed.
  • Collect, review, and maintain accurate documentation and data related to individual progress.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, case managers, guardians, and other members of the support team.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide professional recommendations.
  • Assist with identifying triggers, barriers, and opportunities for positive behavioral change.
  • Promote dignity, choice, independence, and community inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and Minnesota 245D requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Complete required training and maintain all qualifications necessary for the position.
  • Travel to client homes, community settings, and other locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, behavioral science, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, behavioral support needs, or other human services populations preferred.
  • Knowledge of person-centered practices and positive support strategies.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships with individuals and their support teams.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the service area.
  • Must be able to successfully complete required background studies and meet applicable Minnesota 245D requirements.
