The Raytheon Requirements & Capabilities (R&C) Investment & Customer Excellence (ICE) team is seeking a Senior Manager, Pipeline & Investment Analysis to lead the Pipeline and New Business Investment (NBI) planning analysis providing meaningful insights into market opportunities, customer intelligence, capture analysis, and investment priorities that drive strategic direction on Raytheon’s pipeline and product portfolio. The Senior Manager, Pipeline & Investment Analysis, reporting to the Associate Director of Pipeline, Investments, and Strategy, is a valued business partner within the Investment & Customer Excellence (ICE) team and interacts with the functional and SBU leadership teams to achieve business strategic and financial objectives.

The Senior Manager, Pipeline & Investment Analysis, serves as a key contributor to the development and enhancement of pipeline and investment management. This role provides data‑driven recommendations on investment and pipeline strategies to support strategic reviews and decision‑making. The Senior Manager analyzes large, diverse data sets—including market, pipeline, and financial information—to create a holistic view and translate insights into actionable recommendations for Raytheon’s executive leadership team. Their work is essential for strengthening daily operations and identifying areas of opportunity, emerging risks, and appropriate mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and collaborative team member who is proactive, self‑driven, and equipped with strong financial acumen. They should demonstrate exceptional problem‑solving skills, clear and effective communication, and the ability to deliver concise, impactful messaging across all organizational levels.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to the R&C leadership team, providing financial insights to support decision-making on the new business pipeline, investments, and capture and operational efficiency
  • Oversee planning activities to ensure financial resources are aligned with strategic objectives, delivering actionable recommendations on pipeline priorities, customer and product strategies, and opportunities to drive cost efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate market positioning, assess the health of the new‑business pipeline, and measure investment effectiveness, including labor efficiency and utilization metrics
  • Lead process improvements that strengthen data transparency, quality, and timeliness, while establishing standardized reporting, dashboards, and business reviews for R&C leadership
  • Create advanced data visualizations and presentation materials that transform complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership to drive organizational priorities
  • Influence and collaborate with matrixed teams, functional peers, and leadership
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance, analysis, and reporting as requested by management and team
  • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years of financial planning and analysis and/or business intelligence experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 7 years of experience
  • 7+ years of experience leading financial planning and analysis activities for a global matrixed company
  • 7+ years of experience translating cross-functional data sets into actionable strategic and financial insights
  • Experience preparing and delivering visualizations and presentations to senior and executive leadership
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading through change

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience; understanding of DoD contracts, cost structures, and government compliance standards
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems (i.e., SAP, Oracle), CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and business intelligence tools (i.e., Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing and developing a small team of analysts

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
