Their work often involves collaborating with portfolio managers, analyzing performance data, and implementing optimization techniques to ensure portfolios align with clients’ objectives and risk tolerances.

  • Monitor site performance, uptime, and search metrics, flagging and resolving issues as needed
  • Support general site operations and content maintenance as directed by the City Site Content Manager
  • Run regular Site Audits in Ahrefs across our portfolio of city properties; systematically diagnose, prioritize, and resolve technical SEO errors, broken links (404s), redirect chains, and indexing flags.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field

  • Required: Technical proficiency in WordPress, including page/post management, plugin configuration, menus, and basic troubleshooting
  • Required: Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console
  • Working knowledge of redirects, internal linking strategy, and website/site structure best practices
  • Experience with additional SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create or edit content for search performance
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects/clients and reporting to more than one manager
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS a plus
  • Demonstrates strong resourcefulness: capable of researching, troubleshooting, and resolving obstacles independently before escalating.
  • A self-directed, proactive operator who efficiently manages their time, prioritizes tasks, and maintains momentum without needing excessive guidance and oversight.
  • Thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment; comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting quickly as priorities shift.
  • Energized by collective problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork, bringing a β€œcan-do” attitude, dependability, and accountability.
