Job description

  • Participate in a three-year rotational Investment Research Associate Program
  • Rotate across multiple investment teams and gain exposure to quantitative and fundamental investment approaches
  • Work across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and asset allocation
  • Develop and/or redefine investment models and frameworks for understanding return drivers and associated market risks
  • Complete complex analytical projects
  • Interpret company announcements and their investment implications
  • Investigate macroeconomic themes and trends
  • Communicate and present investment ideas to colleagues
  • Work closely with experienced researchers, portfolio managers, and traders
  • Contribute to investment research and decision-making
  • Participate in ongoing research and investment training and firmwide initiatives
  • Transition into a full-time investment-team role upon program completion, potentially earlier
Requirements
  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree by June 2027
  • Degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Mathematics, Economics, Financial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated interest in investing through relevant coursework or internship experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Programming experience in at least one of Python or MATLAB; familiarity with SQL is a plus
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., MS Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering
  • Genuine passion for investing and a strong desire to analyze investment opportunities
  • Willingness to take initiative, embrace risk, and contribute a differentiated perspective
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information, identify key insights, and draw conclusions
  • Proactive and intellectually curious, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Fewer than two years of relevant experience in the investment industry
