Job description


Regions Hospital is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech to work fulltime with our Neurodiagnostic Lab.
This position involves providing the technical component of all EEG testing types including routine, sleep deprived, portable, video and carotid endartectomy monitoring under the direction of a Neurologist; maintains patient data for interpretation, storage and retrieval; cleans and maintains equipment, and all monitoring products. Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
  • 1.0 FTE
  • Hours ranging from 06:30-19:30
  • On call rotation: Every 3rd weekend, 1-2 nights per week
Required Qualifications:
6 months patient care experience in a health care setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An Associate Degree or higher is preferred or enrollment in an accredited ND program
  • Certification in END or registration in one of the following areas: EEG (R. EEG T.), Evoked Potentials (R. EP T.), Nerve Conduction (R. NCS T.) or enrollment in END Technology program and END certification obtained within 5 years of hire preferred.
