Job Title: Portable Sanitation Service Technician
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Manager / Service Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary

The Portable Sanitation Service Technician is responsible for servicing, cleaning, maintaining, and delivering portable restroom units at remote oilfield and industrial customer locations. This position ensures all portable sanitation equipment is clean, fully stocked, and operating properly while providing safe, reliable, and professional service. The technician serves as a front-line representative of the company and is expected to maintain high standards of customer service, safety, and equipment care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Service portable restroom units according to established service schedules.
  • Pump waste tanks using company vacuum service trucks.
  • Clean and sanitize portable restroom interiors and exteriors.
  • Restock supplies including toilet paper, hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels, and deodorizer.
  • Inspect units for damage, leaks, vandalism, and operational issues.
  • Perform minor repairs such as replacing vents, locks, latches, toilet seats, dispensers, and door hardware.
  • Deliver, relocate, and retrieve portable restroom units as directed.
  • Operate service trucks safely while following all company policies and traffic laws.
  • Complete daily service logs, route sheets, and customer documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of serviced units and report any customer concerns.
  • Ensure service trucks remain clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Follow all environmental regulations for the transportation and disposal of waste.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service at all times.
  • Assist with general yard duties and equipment preparation during downtime.
Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to meet company driving and insurance requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to safely operate service trucks and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
