PSI Environmental Systems, a Waste Connections company is looking to hire for a Portable Restroom Driver at our site located in Twin Falls, ID

Schedule: 5 Days/wk, 6:00am Ending when the route is complete, generally 8-10hr day. Weekends required during busy summer months.
Competitive Compensation: $23.00/hr DOE

Portable toilet Truck Drivers are responsible for driving a truck on specified routes to deliver and remove portable restrooms, and mechanically collect waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. Daily work will involve heavy industrial lifting, lifting waist high, gripping with hands, moving at a brisk consistent pace, and occasional bending. This position will also be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.
The Ideal Candidate should have 2 years experience in any of the following:
Outdoor Labor, Non-CDL box truck, vac truck, or company vehicle driving experience, Hands on septic, plumbing, janitorial, or similarly related experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete pre and post trip inspections on vehicles;
  • Load and unload portable toilets with lift gate: Portable toilets weigh 185lbs;
  • Maneuver portable toilets on and off lift gate as well as for placement: using leveraging equipment when possible such as a dolly;
  • Clean portable toilets: carry and hold hose while pumping. Weight of hose is approximately 15lbs. Use sprayer to spray out the portable toilets.
  • Ability to read route sheets and service each customer as identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Monitor and maintains the physical appearance of the equipment;
  • Clean, service, and restock up to 50 units per day;
  • Follow safe operating practices;
  • Interpersonal skills relating to good customer service;
  • Be able to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments;

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
  • Lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Drive for periods of up to 1 hour at a time;
  • The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions;
  • Job requires full range of motion which includes the ability to lift, bend, and stretch.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid Drivers license, with Clean Driving Record. (Required)
  • Ability to Drive Manual Transmission
  • Must pass criminal background check, drug panel screening, and motor vehicle report to be eligible for employment.
  • Ability to obtain Class B CDL within 6 months if required.
  • Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Ability to work a physically demanding job. Loading and unloading cans with no helpers.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English
