We're looking for someone motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow, with a solid foundation in accounting and tax principles and a commitment to high-quality, client-focused work. $28/hr - $32/hr Key Responsibilities: - Prepare T1 Personal and T2 Corporate Income Tax Returns - Prepare year-end adjusting journal entries and working paper files for Compilation Engagements (Notice to Reader) - Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions in accounting software (QuickBooks Online and Desktop) - Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other financial accounts - Prepare and file HST/GST returns on a timely basis - Communicate with clients to collect information, clarify details, and provide updates - Maintain and organize client files in a secure and systematic manner - Provide support to senior accountants and partners Requirements: - Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop); CaseWare is an asset - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to travel to our Port Perry office as required APPLY NOW!
