As Director of Brand Strategy & Communications, you will serve as the steward of the Porex brand, leading the development of a unified brand strategy and customer experience that differentiates Porex globally while supporting its continued growth as part of a larger corporate identity.

You will establish and champion the company's messaging, positioning, thought leadership, and customer engagement strategy, ensuring a consistent brand experience across every customer and employee touchpoint. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, organizational influence, and the ability to build strong followership across a highly technical, decentralized organization.

Working closely with Strategic Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, you will translate complex material science capabilities and application expertise into compelling business value that accelerates commercial growth.


Brand Strategy & Governance
• Develop and evolve the global Porex brand strategy, positioning, messaging architecture, and value proposition.
• Establish brand governance standards that ensure consistency across all customer-facing communications and experiences.
• Lead the continued evolution of the Porex brand while preserving the unique value proposition and entrepreneurial culture that differentiate the business.

Communications & Thought Leadership
• Translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer-centric stories that strengthen market positioning.
• Partner with subject matter experts to create differentiated messaging and content aligned to target markets and customer needs.

Customer Experience & Engagement
• Own the strategy and execution of customer-facing brand experiences, including global trade shows, Innovation Days, webinars, and customer appreciation initiatives.
• Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Porex brand promise and delivers a consistent, high-quality experience.
• Oversee strategy for the customer sampling experience, and branded customer engagement programs.

Content Strategy
• Develop the enterprise content strategy supporting customer education, commercial enablement, demand generation, and brand awareness.
• Partner with Digital Strategy & Growth to optimize content distribution, engagement, and digital performance.
• Ensure messaging consistency across all communication channels.

Organizational Leadership
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide adoption of the Porex brand.
• Partner with corporate marketing teams to align enterprise messaging while maintaining Porex differentiation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Brand & Experience team while managing external agencies and creative partners.

Performance & Measurement
• Establish KPIs for brand awareness, customer engagement, event performance, and organizational adoption.
• Continuously evaluate brand effectiveness through customer feedback, analytics, and market insights.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; MBA or technical background (materials science, engineering) is a plus.

Experience: 7-10+ years experiences in B2B content or brand marketing, ideally in manufacturing, materials science, life sciences, or healthcare.

Skills and abilities include:
• Demonstrated success leading corporate brand strategy within technical manufacturing or engineered products.
• Experience navigating decentralized organizations while successfully influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
• Proven ability to build organizational followership without direct authority.
• Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills.
