Job Posting Title:Program Support Clerk Job DescriptionProgram Support ClerkLocation: Pisgah Forest, NCEmployment Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $17.75/hr + $5.09 Health & WellnessSchedule:M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm DescriptionA Program Support Clerk at a Job Corps center provides essential clerical, data management, and administrative support to keep educational, residential, and operational programs running efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesData & Records Management: Maintain accurate student and program records, handle data entry regarding student participation and progress, and ensure files comply with Department of Labor guidelines. "Establishing uniform systems to account for and document student participation, attendance, achievement, and progress are required" 6. Administrative Support Services.Administrative Assistance: Answer phones, greet visitors, manage correspondence, and route communications between departments, staff, and students.Document Tracking: Assist in organizing confidential files, pulling and archiving records, and preparing routine program logs or reports.Coordination Support: Help schedule appointments, meetings, or intake interviews, and assist staff with day-to-day office organization and supplies tracking.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent is required.Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent organizational abilities, and sharp attention to detail.Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to student and customer service.Experience: Previous general office, clerical, or administrative support experience is typically preferred.
