What is a pool attendant?

Pool attendants are staff members responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of swimming pool areas. They often serve as the first point of contact for guests at pools in hotels, resorts, or community centers, and may also help set up or organize poolside events.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a pool technician?

Familiarity with pool testing kits, chemical dosing systems, and cleaning equipment is typically required. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for this role. These abilities ensure safe, clean, and well-functioning pool environments for clients, reducing health risks and equipment issues.
