Job Overview:

A Retail Store Driver is responsible for the safe and DOT regulated delivery of merchandise from a Leslie’s store location. The Retail Store Driver will assist in all facets of the facility. Duties will include but will not be limited to delivery of merchandise to customers’ sites, daily pre and post inspection of vehicle, maintain Leslie’s Store daily delivery log, maintain safe driving practices, organization and filing of paperwork, assisting the customers with their merchandise, making out bound sales calls, processing orders, inventory control, stocking, unloading and loading trucks, warehouse operations, maintaining the building. The Retail Store Driver will comply with all Company policies and procedures as well as adhere to all DOT regulations.

Outcomes:

Supports the store’s overall sales performance through the achievement of the following:

  • Ensuring the accurate and on-time delivery of all products, 100% of the time and in compliance with DOT safety standards.
  • Always uphold Leslie’s standards for superior customer service.
  • Remaining current and in compliance with all DOT regulations and guidelines.
  • Follow Leslie’s Safety policies
  • Perform consistent inspections of delivery vehicle and complete required paperwork
  • Maintaining and executing appropriate warehouse standards
