Job description

Goodnight Pool Services is seeking a Full Time Pool Service Technician to add to our growing team! Pool service technicians will be responsible for servicing pools around the Austin area. Our pool service technicians are required to drive a company truck to each customer's home, diagnose many types of maintenance issues, recommend maintenance options to customers, and complete all pool cleaning requirements with professionalism and service excellence. Paid training program starting day one to get you comfortable with pool cleaning and chemical balancing.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean swimming pools by skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing walls and tiles, and emptying baskets.
  • Test pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness) and adjust chemicals as needed.
  • Use of Skimmer app for proper workflow and reporting.
  • Inspect pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators for proper operation
  • Always exhibit professional conduct, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
  • Clean and clear the work area after job has been completed as well as ensure individual customer requests are adhered to.
  • Wear company provided uniform at all times and maintain well-groomed appearance in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Possess willingness and ability to become a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and possess a clean driving record.
  • Must have and maintain current Driver's license.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work-load
  • Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive lifting, twisting, bending, pulling, and pushing may be required.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a schedule and workload
  • Ability to always work outdoors in all temperature ranges.

Compensation & Schedule:

  • $18-$24 per hour
  • Monday – Friday
