Position Summary:

We are seeking proactive and skilled Pool Technicians and Senior Pool Technicians for the upcoming 2026 swimming pool season. We are hoping to find candidates with extensive previous experience and knowledge to hit the ground running servicing pools for both residential and commercial customers. These roles typically start in late February or early March though we may have more immediate opportunities depending on level of experience. This hands-on role is ideal for someone wanting to continue to grow their knowledge and passion for the pool industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain inground and above-ground swimming pools (commercial and residential), including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and chemical feeders, with minimal supervision.
  • Administer and balance pool chemicals to ensure proper water quality, including advanced chemical troubleshooting such as phosphate treatment and green pool cleanup.
  • Perform equipment repairs and replacements, including motors, pumps, and booster systems.
  • Complete plumbing repairs, including Schedule 40/80 PVC work, and assist with renovation or construction tasks such as painting, caulking, skimmer replacement, and liner patching or installation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of commercial and residential pool systems.
  • Manage an assigned service route efficiently and independently, maintaining organized records and schedules.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, provide service recommendations, and prepare accurate quotes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
  • Install, diagnose, and repair pool heaters, including ignition and control board components.
  • Perform leak detection using pressure testing, liner trac, and dye testing methods.
  • Troubleshoot and repair chemical controllers and automation systems.
  • Complete minor tile, grout, and coping repairs as needed.
  • Lead and train team members on job sites to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage commercial jobs that use residential-grade equipment independently.

  • Must be available to work during the full operating season (March 1–November 30).
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with flexibility for overtime or weekend hours as needed.
  • Proven track record in diagnosing pool equipment, specifically heaters and automation.
  • Have dependable transportation to work.
  • Ability to frequently pull, push, lift equipment and tools in excess of 60 pounds in all weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
  • Dependable and punctual, with a positive and professional demeanor
  • Either have capability or already possess pesticide certification to apply chemicals
  • Have experience in quoting jobs for work requests
