General Laborer – Pool MaintenancePosition Summary

Easton Select Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer – Pool Maintenance to support our service team in maintaining residential and commercial swimming pools. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to learn the pool service industry.

As a General Laborer, you will assist experienced Pool Service Technicians with routine maintenance, seasonal openings and closings, equipment handling, and general labor tasks to ensure pools remain clean, safe, and operating efficiently. No prior pool experience is required—we provide on-the-job training.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist Pool Service Technicians with weekly pool maintenance and cleaning.
  • Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush pool walls, steps, and tile lines.
  • Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
  • Test and record pool water chemistry.
  • Add pool chemicals following company safety procedures and technician direction.
  • Assist with opening and closing swimming pools for the season.
  • Help install, remove, fold, and store pool covers.
  • Carry and transport equipment, tools, chemicals, and supplies to and from job sites.
  • Load and unload service vehicles each day.
  • Assist with minor equipment repairs and replacements under technician supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at customer properties.
  • Communicate professionally with customers while representing Easton Select Group.
  • Follow all company safety policies and proper chemical handling procedures.
  • Perform other labor duties as assigned to support the service department.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous labor, landscaping, construction, maintenance, or outdoor work experience is a plus but not required.
  • Willingness to learn pool maintenance techniques and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the reporting location.
  • Valid driver's license preferred (required for advancement into technician roles).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions including heat, humidity, and light rain.
