Service Manager

Location: San Fernando Valley / Los Angeles, CA

Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role

SkyBlue Pool Care is looking for a Service Manager to lead our field team and oversee service quality across our growing customer base. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll manage technicians, solve problems for customers and staff, and jump into the field yourself whenever the team needs backup. This role includes managerial duties including virtual team meetings, customer phone calls, and frequent computer usage.


What You'll Do

  • Lead and hold accountable a team of field technicians — performance, quality, and attendance
  • Train new technicians and coach the team toward a high standard
  • Step in personally to cover field work when the team needs backup
  • Be the go-to problem solver for tough customer situations
  • Partner with our office team to keep operations running smoothly
  • Bring technical know-how to diagnose issues and guide repair decisions


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in the pool service industry, ideally with some team leadership background
  • Strong technical knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance
  • A natural problem-solver, comfortable moving between the field and the phone
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
