Job description

Introduction:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Repair Technician to join our team. The Pool Repair Technician will be responsible for general pool repair and maintenance, including, but not limited to pool equipment, pool plumbing, low voltage wiring, and high tech automation. Pool Repair Technicians are customer facing and are expected to approach each job professionally to maintain our high standard of customer care. Repair Technicians should be helpful and responsive to current and potential customers. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be a self motivator and team player.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, repair, and install pool equipment at customer locations.
  • Thoroughly evaluate customer pool equipment and identify needed repairs or upgrades in equipment.
  • Meet with, and explain to customers needed repairs, providing options to customers for solving their pool issues.
  • Properly document jobs and work performed using company technology tools.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff and supervisors.
  • Safely drive the company vehicle to appointments at customer's location
  • Present yourself in a professional manner always.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a pool repair technician including heater diagnosing, automation installation, and electrical knowledge.
  • At least two years of experience in pool equipment service, installation, and repair.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with the different manufacturers/brands of equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to speak English (bilingual is a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
