Job Description – Pool Renovations Foreman
About Us
Our mission as a swimming pool cleaning services company is to develop a highly successful, profitable all-round swimming pool cleaning services business which provides quality services and a retail store in our community, and to become a standard for an ideal swimming pool cleaning services business.
Position Overview
The Pool Renovations Foreman is responsible for overseeing the quality of pool renovation projects while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires knowledge of all phases of pool renovation, including structural and cosmetic work. The Foreman must effectively manage and instruct crews and subcontractors to achieve desired outcomes, ensuring all work meets high product quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Work with renovation crew on concrete pools to diagnose, demo, and repair both structural and cosmetic problems
  • Assist with building new pools (concrete & vinyl liner)
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace swimming pool equipment during renovations
  • Manage crews and subcontractors to ensure work meets company standards
  • Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
  • Valid/Clean Driver’s License
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials/equipment weighing more than 94 lbs. (e.g., 1 bag of Portland cement)
  • Frequent exposure to loud/noisy environments
  • Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions
  • Knowledge of mortar, concrete, and basic construction techniques
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Qualifications
  • Understanding of proper utilization of construction machinery and equipment
  • Ability to identify problems and implement solutions with minimal downtime
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to construction sites
  • Ability to adjust for conditions, troubleshoot, and innovate processes to meet company standards and timetables
Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $30–$36 per hour (depending on experience)
