As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, and will create a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Be the First Voice and Friendly Face: Professionally answer and direct incoming calls, delivering clear, accurate messages that ensure seamless communication.
  • Create a Welcome Experience: Greet and assist residents, visitors, and guests with warmth and professionalism, guiding them throughout Londonderry Village.
  • Coordinate with Precision: Manage reservations for conference rooms, event spaces, and company vehicles, supporting staff scheduling needs.
  • Support Resident Engagement: Serve as a backup for taking resident and external room reservations, ensuring smooth access to spaces.
  • Prepare for Success: Ensure keys are prepared and available in coordination with scheduled reservations.
  • Be a Go-To Problem Solver: Assist residents, families, and staff by submitting accurate work order requests into the WorxHub system.
  • Step in Where Needed: Provide backup coverage at other reception areas as required, maintaining consistent service across the community.
  • Support Vital Departments: Deliver secretarial and clerical support to departments such as Social Services, Therapeutic Recreation, and Nursing Assessment.
  • Keep Volunteer Engagement Flowing: Coordinate volunteer receptionist and greeter schedules when needed to ensure coverage.
  • Handle Sensitive Info with Care: Retrieve Face Sheets from the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to support care planning.
  • Communicate with Families Promptly: Prepare and send care plan meeting notifications to agents under Power of Attorney via mail or email in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Pitch in Where it Counts: Take on additional duties as assigned to support the overall mission and smooth operation of Londonderry Village.
