Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Pool Attendant with Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable aquatic environment for all guests. In this vital role, you will oversee pool safety protocols, perform routine maintenance, and provide exceptional guest services. Your expertise in water safety, first aid, and pool operations will help create a secure and welcoming atmosphere for swimmers of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic aquatic setting while promoting water safety and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents.
  • Respond promptly to water emergencies with water rescue techniques and emergency response procedures.
  • Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels to maintain optimal water quality.
  • Provide water safety instruction and swimming assistance to guests of varying skill levels, including children.
  • Administer first aid, CPR, AED operation, and other medical emergency responses as needed in accordance with first aid protocols.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the aquatic facility to ensure compliance with public safety procedures and health standards.
  • Assist guests with pool access, answer questions about pool operations, and deliver excellent customer service to enhance their experience.


Experience

  • Valid Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
  • Prior experience working as a lifeguard or in aquatic facility operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of water rescue response, basic life support (BLS), and emergency medical procedures.
  • Experience working with children and providing water safety instruction is highly desirable.
