Responsibilities
  • Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and more
  • Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results
  • Document pool issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customers
  • Install new underwater lights
  • Use certified pool equipment to clean swimming pools and water filters
  • Test pH levels for water quality and add or maintain chemicals levels
  • Diagnose faulty equipment to determine if it needs to be fixed or replaced
  • Instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their pool
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with pool chemicals, maintenance techniques and equipment, is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment and dexterity
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required
  • Applicant must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
  • Must have a clean driving record and drive safely and courteously, obeying signs and driving rules
  • Must be able to work with paperwork and software management systems for pool service
  • Must have a great attitude and be willing to learn continually
  • Pool Service technicians must be able to communicate politely with clients and team members and complete all work in a timely and accurate manner
