Flex Pool- Hours and Days Vary. Rates starting at $24.50 per hour and shift differentials of $2.50/hr for evenings, $1.50 for nights and an additional $1.00 for weekends!

At Frederick Living, the CNA  provides hands-on care to residents, addressing their physical and psychological needs under the direction of the RN/LPN Team Leader. This role promotes a homelike atmosphere and supports person-centered care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
  • Assist with restorative nursing programs
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Team Leader or Nurse Supervisor
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, self, and staff
  • Participate in resident care conferences and care plan reviews
  • Collaborate with hall partners and other Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes
  • Comply with infection control practices
  • Conduct or assist in resident life enrichment activities
  • Maintain walkie-talkie on person for effective call bell management and team communication
  • Attend and complete all required in-services, training, and team meetings
  • Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or graduate of a CNA program (certificate must be obtained within 120 days)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
  • Commitment to person-centered care initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive relationships
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed
