About the Program
At Streib, we're invested in building a robust apprenticeship pipeline. This posting is open continuously for candidates who are interested in our future apprenticeship opportunities. Even if there's no immediate opening, your completed application + completion of the process puts you in our candidate ranking pool. When apprenticeship positions become available, we will draw from this pool of fully vetted individuals.
What You'll Learn & Do
- Assist Journeymen and Foremen on job sites with a variety of electrical tasks including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in residential, commercial, and specialty projects.
- Participate in weekly classroom instruction through the Streib Education Center (SEC), which is Department of Labor accredited.
- Rotate among different job sites to gain exposure to diverse types of electrical work.
- Fulfill the Department of Labor requirements: 8,000 hours of on-the-job training (OJT) and 576 hours of classroom instruction over the 4-year apprenticeship.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a strong focus on quality, detail, and team collaboration.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
- Strong work ethic; punctuality, reliability, willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail, safety mindset, ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills; ability to work with others.
- Previous hands-on or trade experience is a plus, but not required.

Additional Requirements
- Must be able to physically perform work: standing, lifting, being outdoors, climbing, etc. up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required protective gear (we will provide PPE).
- Clean background check / drug screening will be required.
- Will be required to obtain a class E Driver's License or better.
