Job description

Description:

Pool Service Technician – Hiring Immediately | $18-$22/hr. | Take Home Company Vehicle | Aquaman Pools | Ambiance | Pool Doctors | Patriot Pool

Own your route. Keep pools perfect. Build a career outdoors.

Certus Home Services is hiring Pool Service Technicians who want steady, independent work and the opportunity to build real expertise. You’ll manage a residential pool service route, keep pools clean and properly balanced, spot equipment concerns before they become bigger problems, and build trust with customers through reliable service.

Why You'll Choose Us

  • A Route That's Yours: Manage your assigned residential service route and build relationships with the customers who count on you each week.
  • A Truck and Tools Day One: Take-home company vehicle, fuel card, company-provided equipment and tools, and uniforms — everything you need to do the job.
  • Benefits That Support You: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, company-paid disability, 401(k) with employer matching, and paid time off.
  • A Career, Not a Ceiling: Build valuable field expertise with opportunities to grow into advanced technical, operational, sales, or leadership roles.
  • Steady, Essential Work: Join a growing home-services organization where dependable service and strong customer relationships matter every day.

What You'll Do

  • Perform scheduled pool maintenance, cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing to company standards.
  • Inspect pools and equipment during every visit and identify maintenance or repair concerns.
  • Communicate recommendations professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Safely operate and maintain your company vehicle, equipment, tools, and chemical inventory.
  • Complete service documentation, chemical readings, and mobile reporting accurately each day.
  • Deliver reliable, professional service that helps retain customers and grow recurring business

What Winning Looks Like on Your Route

Success in this role means consistent, dependable execution:

  • 98%+ of assigned service routes completed on schedule.
  • 95%+ first-time service quality, minimizing callbacks and re-service visits.
  • 90%+ customer satisfaction.
  • 100% completion of required service documentation and chemical reporting each workday.
  • 100% completion of required vehicle inspections and safety procedures.
  • Zero preventable vehicle accidents.

Who You'll Work For

You’ll have the independence to manage your route, with the support of a local branch team and leadership behind you. We’re looking for people who are dependable, detail-oriented, and proud of delivering consistent service customers can trust.

Requirements:

What You'll Bring

  • Valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • A strong work ethic and comfort working independently and outdoors
  • Strong customer-service mindset, professionalism, and communication skills.
  • Professional communication skills and confidence explaining technical issues to customers.

Preferred: Previous swimming pool service or maintenance experience; Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain it; experience with mobile service or field-service applications.
