About Westminster at Lake Ridge
Westminster at Lake Ridge is a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community serving older adults in three levels of service: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a Health Center. Job Summary:
The Concierge is primarily responsible for receiving and relaying incoming and outgoing calls from the and for greeting residents and visitors to the Community. Additional duties include administrative and clerical support. This position is based on the principles of a strengths-based, person-centered approach that recognizes and tailor's interactions to a person's best abilities, supporting their overall well-being through providing meaningful social interaction, and other tasks as designated. The Concierge is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all the following responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
High School education. Proficient use of the English language in both verbal and written forms. Must possess a warm, outgoing personality. Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive guests and screen visitors to the community. Announce visitors and guests as needed to staff or residents as appropriate.
  • Monitor Lifeline system. Respond to emergencies by calling 911, calling the appropriate staff member to respond and writing incident reports as required.
  • Review daily "check-in" report and contact residents as needed.
  • Ensure that the Concierge desk, lobby and entry areas are maintained in a neat, orderly, and welcoming manner. Assist in creating an atmosphere of warmth and present a welcoming demeanor.
